I feel that I am a typical 41-year-old man. At one time I was in good shape, but at some point in time my health became less of a priority. I have broken a promise to myself, a promise that I believe many of us make. That is to never let ourselves get fat or out of shape. My good friend, Zrii 10 star founding executive, Dr. Robert Gonzalez spent some time with me a couple of weekends ago. He and his family came to Arizona from San Diego to visit us. He saw the way I did my business and said though I have been successful I should be careful because I am out of balance. I feel like I have a “terminator” personality. If I focus on a project, I will see it through until the goal is reached. That being said, I have put a great deal of time into my business and my health has definitely deteriorated. Robert was concerned that if I kept going at that pace that I would face burn out.
We did have some fun on his visit. Our families drove down to Puerto Penasco “Rocky Point” Mexico and stayed on the beach. Honestly, I did do some Zrii presentations while we were down there. The Mexican Founders bonus is something
very attractive to me and I always have Zrii on the brain.
We stayed at Bella Sirena. We have a condominium there. While there, I had to face something that has been hindering my social life and fun for some time. Wearing a bathing suit in public is not something that I have wanted to do in public for some time. Those there will tell you that though I swam, I had my shirt on most of the time.
OK I am not proud of how I look in these pictures, but here
are all of the #s.
Age: 41
Height: 6’
Weight: 211 lbs, 24% body fat, waistline measurement 41"
My weight loss goal: 185 and 9% body fat
7/16/2009
Today was a day full of Zrii projects and a bit of fun. Angie and I went over to the Mancuso’s home at 10:00 AM to make 3 way calls. I hadn’t received the Zrii Meal replacement/weight management system yet so I was still living my life as I had been for some years. That is I skipped breakfast and hadn’t exercised for quite some time.
By about 11:00 AM I was getting hungry so I ate a nectarine at the Mancuso’s home and then Vicki made an omelet with eggs, red peppers and chicken.
1:30 P.M. I picked Chandler up at school. He is getting all of his high school P.E. credits taken care of over the summer before he officially starts 9Th grade.
We stopped by our home, go our bathing suits and we went back to the Mancuso’s. We hung out for about ½ an hour and the Fed Ex guy came to the door. My Zrii weight management system was delivered accidentally to the Mancuso’s home. With the amount we hang out there, you can understand the confusion.
I new I was going to start my transformation tomorrow so I thought I’ll continue eating as usual for the rest of the day. We ordered Italian food from Amore’s. I had ½ of a meatball Parmesan sandwich, ½ of a turkey sandwich and some chicken wings. (Now you can see how I got into this physical mess.)
Todd Schwartz and Scott Tracy came over. We did a bit of training and made some 3 way calls. Then it was time for Angie and I to go home, take a shower and get ready for the Thursday night Zrii presentation at Dave Mancuso’s office.
We had a full house at the event. It literally was standing room only. At the end of the presentation we got to spend some time with Dr.s Amy and Ton Czyz. They had just returned from a family trip to Greece. The doctors would have never been able to go on a trip like that a few years ago. I know as a chiropractor, to leave your practice for that long would create a tremendous amount of stress not to mention cost a fortune. Tom and Amy are retired from practice now. They engage in Zrii full time and therefore were able to go on an amazing vacation.
I have never crossed the Atlantic. There are many places that I have dreamed of visiting. Greece is definitely one of them. I am excited that Zrii will make those dream vacations become a reality.
We all then went to Dave’s mom’s home for a birthday party. Dave’s mom had made a homemade Italian meal. Sausage and peppers, Lasagna, salad, bread. The food was amazing. Oh remember it was a birthday so there was chocolate cake. I ate my share and enjoyed every bite.
We then went home, I drank some Zrii and went to sleep (as I often do) on a full stomach.
7/17/2009 The first day of the transformation
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." – Confucius
6:45 AM The alarm goes off. This is one of my Whys. I feel it is unhealthy to wake up to an alarm clock. I am working for financial as well as time freedom.
I asked my son, Chandler if he would like to jog with me this morning. I was feeling pretty bloated and tired.
I weigh 214.5 lbs and I am 21% body fat today. My goal is to lose 30 pounds and get to single digit body fat (9%)
7:07 AM we start walking up our street. We have trails behind our neighborhood that go through the McDowell Mountain range. At 7:15 AM we were jogging through the trails. Chandler is in great shape. Especially since he has been taking PE for summer school. The kid is built like a model out of an Abercrombie and Fitch catalog. He is ripped. He has a natural build that I would have to work very hard to achieve. As a child I was never built like that. I was always a pretty big kid. My father used to call me “moose” growing
up.
As we jogged, I immediately felt tightness in my quadriceps. My chest started pumping pretty hard. Within a few minutes (about 10) my mid back started hurting and I told my son I needed to stop. We walked home.
According to Chandler’s I pod with the Nike ship in his shoe, we walked/ran a total distance of 1.16 miles and burned 117 calories.
When we got home I drank a ½ of glass of water.
8:05 AM I am all showered and shaved and I am consuming 3 oz of Zrii. I make myself a 3-egg omelet. (3 whites and 1 yolk) I give the other 2 yolks to my Jack Russell Terriers. I have a little bit of shredded cheddar on the omelet with two pieces of low carbohydrate wheat toast. I have 12oz water with breakfast.
8:30 AM I drive to my wellness center and I have my father, Dr. Warren Levine adjust my spine. He is a chiropractor as well as a Zrii distributor.
10:49 AM I am drinking a Zrii chocolate meal replacement shake. I made it with chilled water. The product tasted delicious.
12:10 PM I am at the gym. I swim 10 laps in the pool (25 meter pool) and then I go in the steam room. My back feels OK with the swimming. So far I haven’t been proud of my physical ability today but the goal is to make progress without injuring myself.
At 41, I want to regain flexibility, strength, increase my cardiovascular endurance and yes I want to look good in a bathing suit again.
1:05 PM Back at my chiropractic office. Drinking 25 oz of water and eating 3 hard boiled egg whites. In addition I ate 25 mini carrots.
4:45 PM handful of almonds, nectarine and 25 oz of water
7:23 PM home from office. Ate 1 bowl of stew. (top round beef, 1 cooked tomato, 1 cooked golf ball and a 1/2 size potato, 5 cooked mini carrots), 10 0z of water.
Chandler and I went to go see the new Harry Potter movie. The movie started at 8:45 PM. This was a bit of a challenge for me. Chandler got Milk Duds. He offered some to me and I said no thank you. The movie was good but I did fall asleep for about 5 minutes. The new dietary and physical challenges definitely tired me out.
7/18/2009 Day 2
7:15 AM woke up to my Jack Russel Terrier barking. He name is Jackie. She's a year old and she is the younger of two Jack Russell Terriers that we have.
I feel cleaner. I don't feel bloated like I have for years upon waking. My shoulders are sore from swimming yesterday but my back feels great. It's great to have Chiropractic in my life.
I drink 2 oz of water
7:45 Chandler and head outside. We are starting later than we did yesterday and it is already 89 degrees out. We walked .20 miles up our street for 4 minutes and 16 seconds and burned 20 calories.
7:50 we start our run. Though it is hotter outside today, the run feels slightly easier. We ran .99 miles today (almost a mile) The run burned 99 calories and we were running for 11 minutes 54 seconds.
8:03 we are walking home. There are 2 joggers in front of us and one of them gets startled. There is a rattlesnake to his right. When you live in Arizona, you are going to see desert creatures. The walk home burned another 17 calories. I consumed 8 oz of water.
9 AM I consume 3 oz of Zrii
9:15 Breakfast like yesterday 3 egg omelet (1 yolk 3 whites) with cheddar and 2 slices of low carbohydrate toast. 8oz of water
12 Noon Just had the Zrii Vanilla Meal Replacement as my second meal. I mixed 3 tablespoons with 8 oz of chilled water. It tastes great. The jury is still out on what I prefer more, the chocolate or the vanilla. I am off to drink 8 oz of water now.
Going to drink 8 oz of water
2:10 PM Ate 4 slices of Turkey breast on one wheat flat bread with a handful of almonds and 8 oz of water
3:55 PM 2 hard boiled eggs (whites only), handful of almonds, 2 strawberries, handful of blueberries, banana, 8 oz of water
4:15 We meet up with may of our Zrii friends at San Felipe Cantina at Desert Ridge Mall. There were about 40 of us there having fun and socializing. Many were eating chips, salsa, cheese crisps. It was very tempting. We were outside on the patio for the entire get together and by 6:45 I was starting to feel a bit weak. I knew I needed to eat.
7 PM salad, with grilled chicken, avocado, pomegranate, Mandarin oranges and Italian dressing. 20 oz of water.
9:25 PM 3oz of Zrii mixed with 8 oz of water and chocolate Zrii meal replacement. 20 oz of water.
10:30 went to sleep
7/19/2009 Day 3
7:15 AM woke up. Feel well rested. Quadriceps are sore.
7:30 AM stretched a bit.
8 AM 8 oz of water
8:01-8:32 AM Angie, Chandler and I go on a family walk. The temperature is already 93 degrees. We walk 1.52 miles for 30 minutes 59 seconds and burned 153 calories.
My quadriceps feel much better.
9:10 AM 3oz of Zrii
9:30 AM 3 egg omelet (1 yolk, 3 whites) 12oz water and 10 concord grapes
11:33 AM Vanilla Zrii smoothie blended with 8 oz chilled water and a banana. Tasted great. 10 oz of water
I am feeling really great. A great deal of energy. I am feeling lighter and internally cleaner.
Angie and I just created an open microphone night sign up sheet. Every Sunday at 1:00 P.M. we are asking our team to stand up and do a portion of the Zrii presentation.
12:40 PM Angie and I are off to McDowell Mountain Chiropractic for a Zrii presentation
2:30 PM Just returned from a great Zrii presentation. Dr. Dave Mancuso did the introduction including information about Bill Farley, our product and the Chopra Center for Well being endorsement. Damion Lupo did an incredible job on the prosperity plan and Nicole Wescott did an amazing job on the special timing that the Zrii opportunity has. We had 40+ people in attendance. Not bad for a little Sunday presentation.
2:40 PM Turkey breast sandwich on 1 slice of wheat flat bread and 1 slice of white American cheese. I had a nectarine for dessert and 10 oz f water.
4:35 PM 1 slice beef tenderloin, wild rice, handful of almonds, 1 orange and 10 oz of water
7:27 PM Angie, Chandler and I went to see Angels and Demons at Farelli's Cinema Supper club
I ate 1 cup of top sirloin chili, 20 oz of water, salad with balsamic and olive oil, dried cranberries, jicama, cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes and a bowl of popcorn.
10:51 PM 3oz of Zrii
7/20/2009 Day 4
5:10 AM woke up early today. Angie and I are joining a yoga class. I am drinking 4 oz of water before I go and I am bringing a bottle with me.
Wow! Yoga was great. I am very stiff and am going to receive great benefits from regular yoga. We joined a school where my sister in law teaches.
7:15 AM 3 oz of Zrii
7:50 AM 2 egg omelet with shredded cheddar, 2 slices of low carb wheat toast and 10 oz of water

6:15 PM Grilled chicken, peas and 10oz of water
9:30 PM Cobb Salad no bacon, no croutons. 10 0z of water
10:25 PM 3oz of Zrii
7/21/2009 Day 5
5:10 AM I woke up about 5 minutes before the alarm this morning. I have mixed feelings if I am happy about that since it so early.
5:45 AM 2nd day in yoga class. I was a little lightheaded in class today. Still trying to get acclimated to the heat in Sumits yoga studio. Have you ever had one of those love hate relationships? I can't say that I love being in the yoga class yet, but I can say that when I am done with the class, I feel great all day. I feel like I have accomplished something. I do like taking yoga in the morning and then I have the rest of the day.
7:15 AM got home
7:45 AM 3 oz of Zrii
8:15 AM grilled chicken, peas, 5 almonds and 10 oz of water

10:10 PM 3 oz of Zrii
7/22/09 Day 6
5:10 AM woke up feeling well
5:45 AM I did better in yoga class today. I found myself starting to enjoy the process a bit. I had more energy and was able to hang in there better. I drank 16.9 oz of water throughout the class.
7:15 AM Home drinking 3 oz of Zrii
8:15 AM Heaping tablespoon low fat cottage cheese, 10 green grapes, 12 almonds and 10 oz of water

I did a Zrii prosperity presentation tonight with Dr. Doug Hassenpflug, a local eye Dr. We had a great time but the time got away from me. I would prefer to eat every 2-3 hours to keep my metabolism spinning. It's 6 hours since my last meal but I am hungry and I walked into my home and smelled my wife, Angie's amazing chili.
9:30 P.M. 2 bowls of Chili (shouldn't have had 2 bowls it was a lot of food, but it sure tasted great), salad and 10 oz of water. 3oz of Zrii
7/23/2009 Day 7
So I am into my 7th day. Time to take pictures and measurements. The pictures definitely show weight loss in my face. (I can think of other areas that I would like the weight loss to show more) The numbers are amazing and very encouraging.
Body Fat 20%
Waist 39 1/2 "
I have lost 1.5 pounds, 4% body fat and 1.5 inches in my mid line in 7 days.
I have never felt starved or deprived; in fact my diary shows that I have eaten a lot of food.
Here are my goals for this week:
Continue to improve in yoga. Increase my balance, flexibility, focus and stamina in the class.
Increase my laps in the pool. ( I need to buy goggles today, the chlorine is getting to my eyes)
Go to the gym to increase cardio and engage in light weight training
Increase my vegetable intake. One of my teammates, Tammy Tolene, a Naturopathic student said she has been reading my progress and pointed out that I am not eating enough veggies. Thanks for the great advice Tammy.
5:10 AM wake up
5:45 AM yoga 13.9 oz of water in class
8:15 AM treadmill 20 minutes walk/run average speed 3.6 MPH, distance 1.21 miles burned 110 calories
Precor Abdominal bench 3 sets of 15 (crunches)
Hammer Strength Ab crunch 10 pounds 3 sets of 15
11:00 AM haven't eaten yet. The day has gotten away from me. I have been exercising and doing 3 way calls and I haven't eaten.
11:10 AM large salad, no dressing. (baby greens, chicken, goat cheese, almonds, mango, jicama, cucumber and dried cranberries) 5 oz of water
2:15 PM low fat cottage cheese, banana, almonds, 3 oz of Zrii and 10 oz of water
4:35 PM Zrii Vanilla shake (4 tablespoons this time, it had been 3) mixed with 8 oz of water and then 10 oz of water
6:45 PM chicken (baked no sauces just dill and other herbs), brown rice, broccoli and 10 oz of water
10:55 3 oz of Zrii
7/24/2009 Day 8
5:05 AM I wake up 5 minutes before the alarm
5:45 yoga class I was a bit lightheaded in yoga today. I feel that maybe I pushed myself in the class a bit to hard today and didn't pace myself
8 AM 3 oz of Zrii, 3 egg omelet (1 yolk) with diced yellow onions and cheddar., 10 oz of water and a peach
9 AM I received my first compliment today. My mother, Judy works with me in our chiropractic clinic and she said that i am looking thinner.
10:42 AM Zrii chocolate shake made with 8 oz of water and 4 tablespoons of the product. 25 oz of water
I am feeling tired today. I could easily make an excuse and take a nap over my lunch break at the chiropractic office today. I will stay committed to what I have started and push myself.
12:20 PM The cool water of the pool at 24 hour fitness woke me right up. I swam 20 laps today. That is double the distance of where I started a week ago. I picked up the pace quite a bit on the 20th lap. The swim was 10 minutes. 5 minutes in the steam room.
1:11 PM back at my chiropractic office. I am eating a handful of almonds, 25 oz of water, chicken (about the size of my fist, this is the left over chicken from yesterday.) broccoli and brown rice.
As I drink my water, I am proud that I pushed myself to go to the gym to swim today. If I had chosen to nap instead it would have given me temporary happiness. The sense of accomplishment is a much more powerful feeling and the rewards from my positive actions will be long term. We are all given multiple opportunities everyday to make choices. The way we decide can either have a positive or a negative impact on our finances, our health and/or our happiness.
3:30 PM 4 oz Knudson's on the go low fat cottage cheese, banana and 25 oz of water
7:30 PM Chicken and Green Bean stir fry & 10 oz of water
9:30 PM OK I had a tremendous sweet tooth. This is what I did to satisfy that urge. Zrii Vanilla meal replacement (4 scoops), a banana, a handful of blueberries mixed in a blender with 8 oz of water. Oh man did that taste great. Obviously more calories than I should be consuming this late at night but, it was fruit and it is way better than eating a sugary snack, cookies or ice cream.
10:30 PM 3 oz of Zrii
7/25/2009 Day 9
6:45 AM wake up. The yoga studio doesn't have the 5:45 AM class on the weekends. They have an 8 AM class but I will be attending a Michael Bernoff seminar at 9:30 AM this morning.
7 AM off to 24 hour fitness
7:15 AM I am at the gym and I consume 16.9 oz of water while there.
20 minutes on the treadmill walk/run I burned 145 calories, moved at an average speed of 4.3 MPH and went a distance of 1.47 miles. This is quite a bit better than the last time on the treadmill on day 7. I can feel my cardiovascular endurance improving dramatically compared to when I was running with my son Chandler the first 2 days of the transformation. I know I have a tremendous amount of room for improvement but to just see what I have accomplished in 9 days is great.
I think about all of the people who are out of shape, who get winded just walking etc. I believe many are on this path. I was on this path. This is the path that leads so many to avoidable ailments like heart disease. 9 days has been a small investment in my future health and I am so happy to be on this road. The destination can be a never-ending commitment to small improvements in health. We can all continue to improve our diet, posture, balance, peace, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance & muscular strength by making constant little changes in our lifestyle. It's all about making our health a priority.
I have found a way to to start taking care of myself and yet still have plenty of time to spend quality time with my family, run a successful chiropractic practice & build a big Zrii distributorship. It has taken some little shifting of behaviors to accomplish this.
A couple of these is waking up earlier so that I may attend yoga and swimming laps on my lunch hour.
It's amazing how many people have so many excuses to not do something positive in their life. When I hear of people that complain of their health or their finances I want to help them. Often times, they see that I am offering a viable opportunity to help with both simultaneously but they make the excuse that they don't have time. This is an excuse to keep people in their comfort zone. Would I rather sleep an hour later and not go to yoga? Would I rather go out with friends to lunch and eat some fun food like Pizza than swim laps? Would I rather watch television than build my Zrii business? The only thing that a "yes" answer will give to any of these questions is temporary satisfaction. Financial freedom and health will offer a lifetime of happiness.
"Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do, and that often means living outside the limits of one's comfort zone." Jeff Olson
8:45 AM 3 oz of Zrii, 10 oz of water, 2 egg omelet (1 yolk) with yellow diced onions, 1 slice provolone cheese. 10 grapes (5 green and 5 concord)
9:03 AM We are off to the Michael Bernoff seminar
This was a great event. I learned so much. I received my second weight loss compliment. I participated on stage with Michael Bernoff. Later at dinner, my business partner and long time friend Vicki Mancuso said that when I was on stage she noticed that my face is looking thinner. That's what I thought was really apparent in the 1 week pre and post pictures.
1:10 PM salad with turkey, swiss cheese tomato, mozzarella balls, vinaigrette dressing and 8 oz of water
7 PM a small sliced Italian beef salad at NYPD (New York Pizza Department) and 10 oz of water. I love this salad but I must admit. This was slight torture. Watching my friends and family members eat piping hot Pizza, garlic knots, spaghetti and meatballs was rough. I am a recovering carboholic. There is nothing that tastes better and is more satisfying to me than fresh bread out of the oven. When I consume breads, pizza, pasta, I feel an immediate sense of satisfaction but within 20-30 minutes I get real lethargic. When I eat these foods, I love it so much that I will eat very fast and eat too much. I made it out of the restaurant without cheating myself and my progress and I feel great.
9:34 PM 3 oz of Zrii, Chocolate Zrii meal replacement made with 8 oz of water. 10 oz of water
My goal is to eat 6 times per day with each meal 2 1/2- 3 hours apart. I would like those meals to have a small portion of a lean protein, a quality natural and not refined carbohydrate and healthy fats. I want to consume fruits, vegetables and almonds within these parameters.
Obviously today didn't work out that way. One of the things that I learned at the Michael Bernoff presentation today was that there are many of us that procrastinate until we feel we can do something perfect or to wait for the perfect time. Life is always changing. We need to have the ability too quickly adapt. The idea for me is to do my best each day, strive for improvements and accept that everything doesn't always work out perfectly to my plan.
What I gained from the Bernoff seminar is far more powerful than what I lost by missing a few meals. I will get right back track tomorrow.
11:00 PM I am off to bed
7/26/2009 Day 10
5:45 AM woke up before alarm.
6:30 AM 3 oz Zrii
I am still thinking about that shake I made 2 nights ago. I make it again. 8 oz of water, 1 banana, fistful of blueberries, crushed ice and 4 tablespoons of Zrii vanilla meal replacement. Stirred it all up in a blender. Tastes amazing.
8:45 AM 4 oz of cottage cheese, 10 assorted grapes and 10 oz of water. I would have waited until 9:30 to eat this meal but I have a yoga class at 10 AM today and I don't want to go on a full stomach.
10:00 AM yoga class
I experienced something very bizarre in yoga today. I know some of you are going to read this and not believe it. I have had patients tell me over the years that sometimes when they do a detox or cleanse, they would sweat out impurities, toxins and heavy metals. I am drenched in sweat in yoga as is my towel. My towel smelled metallic today. I know that I am cleansing and detoxifying because of the Zrii products and yoga. If heavy metals are leaving my body, that is pretty exciting. Yoga was not as rough as Friday. I did feel a bit queasy even when i got home at 11:35 AM
11:40 Peach and cottage cheese. After a couple of bites of the peach, I felt the queasiness immediately go away. 10 oz of water.
12:43 PM off to Zrii presentation at McDowell Mountain Chiropractic
3:20 PM Cobb salad, not bacon or croutons with vinaigrette dressing. 10 oz of water
7 PM grilled vegetable salad (feta cheese, zucchini, squash, carrots) 10 oz of water
8:45 3 oz of Zrii, Zrii chocolate meal replacement, 10 oz of water
7/27/2009 Day 11
5 AM woke up
5:45 yoga. Felt improvement in stamina in yoga today. Not to the same degree but I did notice that my sweat had a slight metallic smell on my clothes today
7:30 AM 3 oz of Zrii
8:10 low fat cottage cheese, 10 assorted grapes, 10 oz of water
I came across some records this morning of where I tracked my weight many months ago. Zrii was paying for a trip for Angie and I to go to Hawaii and 2 months prior I tried to lose some weight. I wanted to look decent at the beach. Though I did lose some weight, I have lost more in 11 days with Zrii's meal replacement shakes than 2 months without that product. The product has helped with cravings, I really don't feel hungry and the temptations of sweets, breads and pastas are getting less and less. I am feeling leaner, stronger, more balanced and healthier every day.
10:45 AM Chocolate Zrii meal replacement
12:15 PM swam 30 laps. 5 minutes of steam room
1:17 PM 2 hardboiled eggs (1 yolk), 20 assorted blueberries, grapes (green and concord) 25 oz of water
3:45 PM 4 oz low fat cottage cheese, mini carrots, grapes, blueberries and 25 oz of water
6:30 PM turkey breast, 2 slices provolone cheese, broccoli, brown rice, 10 oz of water
8:55 PM 3 oz of Zrii, Zrii Vanilla shake, 10 oz of water
5:45 AM Yoga I am pacing myself better. I have seen a little increase in my balance and focus. I did not experience that metallic smell today. 12 oz of water in class.
7:35 AM 3 oz of zrii
8:2o AM Zrii vanilla meal replacement. 10 oz of water
10:30 AM cottage cheese, blueberries and 10 oz of water
12:30 PM Salad baby field greens, fresh roasted chicken, goat cheese, almonds, mangos, jicama, cucumber, dried cranberries and 10 oz of water
4:20 PM turkey breast, 2 slices of American cheese, mini carrots and 10 oz water
8:30 PM 10 oz of water, a salad and meatballs and marinara sauce. I ate too many meatballs. (about 10) They were homemade by Dr. Dave Mancuso.
9:20 PM 3 oz of Zrii
7/29/2009 Day 13
5:45 AM yoga. The instructor said that she’s seen an improvement in me.
7:20 AM 3 oz of Zrii
7:50 AM a handful of blueberries. 3 egg omelet (1 yolk), diced yellow onions, cheddar cheese. 10 oz of water
10:00 AM Chocolate Zrii. 25 oz of water
12:30 PM swam 32 laps, 5 minutes of steam room
1:30 PM low fat cottage cheese, 10 assorted grapes, 25 oz of water
I am feeling clean today. I don’t mean clean on the outside of my body, I mean clean on the inside. The western diet of processed foods, fried foods, heavy carbohydrates and sugars slows people down. Eating like that gums up the works. I had gotten used to feeling that way. I believe most people do. Eating a clean diet over the past 13 days has made my body feel like it has gotten an engine overhaul.
4:10 PM Chocolate Zrii meal replacement shake. 25 oz of water
8:30 PM 3 oz of Zrii
7/30/2009 Day 14
I am two weeks into the transformation and I feel amazing. I no longer have that sluggish feeling that I feel many of us experience day to day. My body feels clean on the inside. My flexibility, strength, balance, peace, focus and productivity have all increased. I am beginning to love yoga. I no longer feel dizzy or lightheaded in class. My cardiovascular endurance is improving daily.
My Chiropractic practice has increased by 30% in 2 weeks
I will be doing 4 Zrii presentations today and multiple 3 way conference calls (and still find time to get everything together for the Alaska cruise tomorrow)

I am very happy. In 2 weeks on the Zrii transformation program, I have lost 5 pounds, 5 % body fat and 2 inches from my waist. The pictures reveal that I am losing my “back fat”. I am excited for my “love handles" to decrease.
At this pace, within a couple of weeks I will be less than 200 pounds.
My cravings have definitely decreased but I am about to be faced with a big challenges. Tomorrow I am going on the Zrii Alaska incentive cruise. The cruise will be 8 days and for those who have been on a cruise before, you know that there are many caloric temptations.
I am hopeful that the ship will have a yoga class. I am developing an addiction to yoga. I especially like starting my day with this discipline. It is a commitment to wake up early and be in class at 5:45 AM every morning. We all deserve to keep commitments that benefit our health.

This cruise has given me a taste of the great life. I have been going to sleep when I have wanted to go to sleep. I wake up without an alarm clock. I spend the day with great friends, great food and positive healthy activities. I ahve had zero stress.
I have yet to feel deprived. Tonight at dinner there was a desert offered. IT had an amazing presentation that went along with it. It was called Baked Alaska. The presentation like all of the deserts of this cruise are beautiful. Dr. Larry Herman who is alos on the cruise and enganged in the transformation talked me out of trying this desert. Angela Stacy said that the deserts are good but so are M&Ms (which the ship has a t the ice-cream bar). It wasn't hard to say no to the empty calories. I have come this far (19 days) why should I get weak now?
8/5/2009 Day 20
8AM we are at sea today. I have a cup of warm water and lemon. I swim 30 laps in the pool. The water is heated but it sure is cold when you get out of the pool and that Alaskan air hits you.
Dry sauna for 10 minutes. Bathing suit is almost dry by the time I get out. Just like my home in Arizona.
9AM Yoga class
10:38AM chhocolate Zrii meal replacement
Havng no scale is weird. Tomorrow normally would be my weigh in day as well as pictures. The cruise has definitely changed my meals as well as my exercise but I feel I have made great choices and as I look in the mirror, I can see positive changes since the cruise started. I am starting to see the top of my abdominal muscles just below my last ribs on the front of my body.
12:30PM 10 oz water, 1 cup melon soup, grilled chicken and salad with oil and vinegar. Apple walnut salad as well.
2:30PM 1 apple and 2 handfuls of peanuts
7PM 10 oz water, salad, raw beef tenderloin and a portion and a 1/2 of beef wellington (I finished Angie's portion). I need to watch out for that behavior. Before I started this transformation, that was a regular bad habit of mine (finishing Angie's and sometimes Chandler's meals).

My mother in law complimented me at dinner tonight. She noticed the weight loss in my face and neck. The pictures clearly demonstrate that. The pictures also show the "back fat" melting away. The love handles are decreasing but I have much more that I want to lose. My goal is to be under 200 pounds by the Rising Star Academy (R.S.A.) That's 9 days from now on the 20th of August. It has been a long time since I have not weighed over 200 pounds. 5 pounds more before RSA, I can do it. I would also like to lose at least 8% more body fat. That would get me into the single digit range.

5:00 PM Through this transformation, I am getting more calm and relaxed. I feel more at peace and not stressed. I had my blood pressure taken today just out of curiosity.
